All very accurate. I would add Iowa to the list with PA and OH as breeding grounds for great wrestlers.

And that 3-to-5 x state champ from a lesser state will often (always exceptions) get pummeled by a third or fourth ranked wrestler in PA, OH and Iowa.

The best wrestlers know that they have to go to the big national tournaments to prove themselves. So look to their results at Beast of the East, Powerade, Ironman, Super 32, Flo, NHSCAs, etc. And if they didn't go to those tournaments, that is a statement in itself.
